Balance and Unbalanced Forces in Baseball

We all know that balanced and unbalanced forces are all around us but we really don't know where to find them. There are many examples of these forces such as sky diving, a roller coaster, and even riding a bike.

My example is in baseball. The example is in the batter's swing. When a batter swings, there are a lot of things happening at once. The batter looks for the ball, starts his swing, and tries to level his swing to make contact. In this whole process the balanced and unbalanced forces all happen as the bat makes contact with the ball. In this concept the whole balanced and unbalanced theme is in the speed the ball and bat go. When a coach tells you to swing faster or slower, it is for that very reason. See if the pitcher were to throw slow and the batter swung fast and made contact, the ball would go down the third base line if he were a right hander and down the first base line if he were a left hander. And if the pitcher were to throw fast and the batter swung slow and late, the ball would go opposite of were the batter is standing. Now if both the bat and the ball were to have the same speed and a balanced force, the ball would end up going up the middle.
